COVID-19 Relief in India
On Monday (April 26th), India reported 352,991 new cases and 2,812 virus-related deaths. With many of the cases going unreported, this marks the world's highest daily caseload for the fifth straight day. The second wave continues to devastate the country, with hospitals running out of ICU beds and oxygen. People are dying on the street, waiting to receive care.
As someone who was born and raised in India, my country and its citizens mean everything to me. To see the toll COVID-19 is taking on my home, is truly heart breaking.
However, I can do better than just mourning the devastating losses. We can do better than that! The current exchange rate for US dollar to Indian rupee is $1 = 74.78 rupees. Your contribution of $5-10 can go a long way to help Indians.
If you need a better incentive, I will be matching the first $1,000 raised, doubling the impact of any donation you make. Please help India, if you can, however you can!
